During the lockdown due to corona, from March 15 to June 1, she photographed the view from the stairwell of the apartment building in Breda where she lives every evening before sunset. The presentation of the finished artwork of 81 photos is on show at Pennings Foundation until February 20, 2021.

The 81 images are bundled in a book: Quarantine View. On Saturday, December 12, Noortje will talk about the realization of this book, but also about her experience during the making of the series. “Every evening it is special to experience the spectacle of the sunset and the play of light and clouds through the frame of the window”. Noortje takes you to ‘stand still’ with her and let the images affect you.
