On March 9, Arian Christiaens will present her book ‘In Camera’ at FOMU. This event is free.

With ‘In Camera’ Christiaens juxtaposes her own relationship, her own identity and her own images with those of her parents. In doing so, she calls into question the traditional relationship between men and woman and between photographer and model, both over time and within her own family history. Gazes cross and are reflected within the image, outside the image and through the image.

7.45 pm – 8.30 pm: Book launch & talk
8.30 pm – 9 pm: Arian will be signing her book (possibility to buy the book at FOMU shop)
FOMU cafe will be open between 6 pm and 7 pm for early birds and those who want to visit the museum.

The talk will be held in English.
